Soledad,
aqui estan mis credenciales,
vengo llamando a tu puerta
me encontrarás
en cada cosa que he callado.
Ya pasó
ya he dejado que se empañe
la ilusión de que vivir es indoloro.
Que raro que seas tú
quien me acompañe, soledad,
a mi, que nunca supe bien
cómo estar solo.

Double Sidded Country
Honduras, 112,492 km2 of natural beauty, bathed by the atlantic and pacific ocean, a rich empire crowded with exotic species of plants and animals, blues skies, cristal waters, the second largest coral rief in the world, a rich heritage of mayan culture, capital of "la punta" danced by the "garifunas" all across the atlantic shore; and so long, and so long....
This is my country, this is the land that saw my birth, this is the place where i wanna be burried or have my ashes spread. This is Honduras, the place with the smiling people, the non-stopping hardworking cities... this place, is soon to be dead.
The amazing beauty of this piece of land is being overshadowed by the horrible amount of violence shown in the media every day, this eden is soon gonna be nobody's land, the heart of the people is fading, and looks like nobody can do anything about it (or at least doesn't want to).
Men killing men, men killing women, Sons killing fathers, fathers killing sons, husbands killing wives, wives killing husbands, knowns and strangers killing each other in every square inch of this damned place. When is this going to end? What is wrong with you people?! Have you forgot that God said Love each other as you love me? have you forgot of him too?
Writing this words is heartbraking, mostly because as EVERYONE in this country I've been splattered by the violence directly or indirectly, it makes me think of all the innocent friend and family lives taken, it makes me wanna cry when i think that a mother has to burry her son, a 14 years old girl has to burry her entire family, is just sad.
I don't know why i write this when I'm sure nobody's listening, maybe is a SOS call, is there anyone out there who can help us? is there anyone who pray for us? is there anyone at all?
Any word written by me might be a last, I'm not sure about the future and I'm scared, hopefully this will be read by anyone with the willing to help, hopefully he or she will do something.
